Cutting Tools
The Cutting tool you carry should be able to complete any tasks you need in a survival situation. A 4" to 6" full tang knife should be your first choice, the size makes it so you can carve and process game with it and use it to make a shelter if needed. Pocket knives and multi tools are useful for smaller task but should not be the main cutting tool you carry when you go out into the woods. Things like folding saws, axes, and hatchets can be added to make shelter building easier if you plan to do that while you are out enjoying the woods.
