About Us

The founder Chris Wood is a US Army Veteran, a husband, father and avid hunter/outdoors man. After completing his contract with the Army he felt like he had no direction in life. C&D Firearms officially came to life 2/17/2017 in Carbondale, PA, just 10 days after the birth of his daughter. The motivation to start the business came from Dave Canterbury, Jamie L Burleigh, Kevin Baxter and everyone in the pathfinder community. Chris personally tested and uses each of the different brands and items carried in our inventory. This web-page is the first step in our journey, as we work to expand our inventory for the web based business and ultimately become both online and brick and mortar based to meet the needs of you, our clientele locally and abroad.
